얼마 전, 연금 인출과 관련하여 조금 더 구체적인 정부 지침이 나왔다. 영주권, 시민권 소지자 뿐만 아니라 임시비자를 가지고 있는 사람들도 연금 인출 신청을 할 수 있게 되었다. 은행 계좌와 함께 수퍼 계좌도 함께 이용중인 Commonwealth bank 홈페이지에 들어가보니 이와 관련한 내용을 잘 정리해놨다. 내가 자격이 있는지? 언제 신청할 수 있는지? 어떻게 신청해야 하는지? 그리고 신청 후에 안내는 언제 받게 되는지 등 흔히 궁금해 하는 내용들이 잘 정리되어 있어 보기 편하다.

이 포스팅에선 본격적인 연금 인출 신청이 아닌, 연금 인출 신청을 위한 사전 예약방법을 다룬 것이다. 향후(4월 20일 이후) 연금 인출 신청을 할 예정임을 미리 어필하는 것이다. myGov의 어플리케이션이 오픈되면 프로세스를 진행하기 위한 폼과 기타 사항들을 이메일과 모바일로 안내받을 수 있다. 사전예약을 위해 myGov 사이트에 들어가 로그인을 하면 'Intention to access coronavirus support' 라는 제목으로 바로 화면이 나오게 된다. 여기서 인스트럭션을 따르면 된다.

아래 스크린 샷을 보면, 코로나 바이러스 서포트가 두 종류가 있는데 하나는 센터링크 페이먼트, 그리고 다른 하나는 내가 하고자 하는 early access to Super이다. 아래 빨간 화살표가 있는 버튼을 클릭하면 된다

저 버튼을 클릭하면, 내 이름과 이메일주소, 전화번호 등의 컨펌을 요구하는 페이지가 나오고 거기서 컨펌을 하면 아래 화면이 나온다. 사전 예약이기때문에 간단하다.

위 과정을 진행하기 앞서 반드시 myGov사이트에 어카운트를 만들어 놔야 한다. 그리고 기준에 맞춰 내가 eligible 한지 확인하고 그를 뒷받침할만한 서류를 꼭 준비해 놔야 한다. 나는 2019년 하반기와 비교했을 때 시프트의 20% 이상이 줄어들었기 때문에 eligible하다고 판단, 또 이것을 뒷받침 하기 위한 서류로는 지난 주 회사에서 받은 Stand down Letter를 제출 할 계획이다.

Am I eligible?

​

The Government has confirmed that to apply for early release you must satisfy any one or more of the following requirements:

​

you are unemployed; or

​

you are eligible to receive a job seeker payment, youth allowance for jobseekers, parenting payment (which includes the single and partnered payments), special benefit or farm household allowance; or

​

on or after 1 January 2020:

you were made redundant; or

​

your working hours at the time you make the application have been reduced by 20 per cent or more compared to the second half of 2019; or

​

if you are a sole trader — your business was suspended or there was a reduction in your turnover of 20 per cent or more at the time you make the application compared to the second half of 2019.

맞게 잘 하고 있는 건지 모르겠다. 일단 상황이 상황인지라... 준비는 하고 있어야 겠다.

아주 조금씩이라도 늘고 있던 잔고가 이제 줄어들기 시작한다. 맙소사.
